Family History

Everybody has a story to tell. Known as the "Greatest Generation" those of the WWII era are slowly disappearing. Many families have taken it upon themselves to get their stories from Mom and Dad or even Uncle Fred before their legacy is lost forever for future generations. It's not as hard as it would seem, just talking into a simple tape recorder would be a start to gather their stories to edit later.  Many have thought of publishing the stories themselves for the family or even for sale. This type of publishing is called Vanity Publishing and unfortunately it can be fraught with pitfalls.
